♀ Kzir Milim was established in January 1996 for the purpose of publishing lesbian and feminist literature in Hebrew to translate this literature into Hebrew from other languages, as well as presenting innovative and/or different literature from the mainstream.
♀ Kzir Milim has inscribed on its flag the principle of openness and tolerance, while encouraging the creativity of lesbian and feminist writers. We do our best to promote Israeli secular culture, with much respect for the diversity of Jewish ancient culture and tradition.
♀ Kzir Milim closely guides writers, providing constructive criticism during the continuous and complicated process of publishing, beginning with receiving manuscripts, editing them, and finally releasing the finished book to the readers.
♀ Kzir Milim holds writing workshops with the purpose of distributing lesbian and feminist literature throughout Israel.
